LOCAL RULES

1 Out Of Bounds

External – All boundaries of the golf course Internal –

• 8th hole – Over the hedge between the 8th and 13th fairways.
• 13th hole – Over the hedge between the 13th and 18th fairways.
• 14th hole – On or over the burnt line between the 14th and 15th fairways.
• 15th hole – On or over the burnt line between the 15th and 14th fairways.

Over the hedge along the public road running through the centre of the course, including any part of the course over the road. The driving range and the car park.

2 Staked Trees

Where a staked tree interferes with a players stance or area of intended swing, the ball may be dropped, without penalty, within one club length of the nearest point of relief not nearer the hole.

3 Young Tree Plantations

Where a tree within the plantation (normally enclosed in plastic) interferes with the players stance or swing he ball may be lifted and dropped without penalty within one club length of the nearest point of relief not nearer the hole. A ball lost within a tree plantation must be treated as a lost ball. Rule 27

Gur

A ball in an area marked GUR MUST be lifted and dropped within one club length of the nearest point of relief not nearer the hole.

Roads And Paths

A ball coming to rest on the road or on a path may be lifted and dropped, without penalty, within one club length of the nearest point of relief not nearer the hole.

Overhead Wires

A ball striking an overhead wire on the 9th and 13th holes must be replayed, without penalty, from which the ball was last played.

Water Hazards

• Burns crossing the 1st, 11th and 17th fairways.
• The lakes at the 6th and 18th holes.

Lateral Water Hazards

• The drainage ditches along the 2nd, 16th, 17th and 18th fairways.
• The lakes at the 3rd, 10th and 17th holes.

Areas Of Tree Bark

A ball coming to rest in an area covered by tree bark may be lifted and dropped without penalty not nearer the hole or alternatively played as it lies.

Flower Beds

All flower beds within the boundary of the course are to treated as GUR.

Stones In Bunkers

Stones can be removed without penalty.

DANGER!!! THE WATER IS VERY DEEP BEYOND THE EDGES OF THE LAKES.
